About Tahoe SAR

Tahoe Search and Rescue is a nonprofit, all volunteer group, dedicated to helping our visitors and neighbors in need of technical/medical rescue in our beautiful backcountry.

Our Mission

"We, the members of El Dorado County Search & Rescue, in our mission to save lives and reduce human suffering, will give the most effective personnel and resource response to search, rescue and disaster emergencies."
